The morning started off with a repeat hike for us, Mica Hill. Last year when we hiked it, it was shrouded in fog. Today conditions were perfect.

We did the same distance and time as last year. For me this is one of my favorite hikes.

This was followed by a beach walk at Cabots Landing. The first place the explorer landed, discovering the Americas. This was a stunning park.

We ended the afternoon grabbing a pizza and doing laundry at the comfort station in Neil’s Harbor. This is the reality of travel for us, spending a few hours doing laundry. I used my time wisely while waiting, I napped. It’s not always social media perfect…

Tomorrow we have a long day. We leave the cabin and go to North Sydney to catch the 11 p.m. overnight ferry to Newfoundland. We are camping for the a few days in Gros Morne Natonal park, so wifi will be spotty. I won’t have consistent wifi until Tuesday.

If we do anything interesting I will do a quick post. See ya sometime in the near future.
