Today after coffee and breakfast we rented a zipcar for a few hours.
Our first stop was Union Market for some treats.
We’ve been wanting to try the fish from District Fishwife and recently we found pictures of the bagel donuts and malasadas from B. Doughnut and knew we needed to try them. We picked up two bowls from the Fishwife for lunch and one bagel donut/malasadas to supplement Monday’s breakfast.
We brought our bowls over to Forge Brewworks to enjoy with their beers. We discovered that wasabi pairs nicely with their Wit beer.
After enjoying a flight and only eating one bowl, we headed back to return the zipcar. Once back at the hotel, we had our down time before dinner with the other nephew.
We choose to have Mexican at Espita Mezcaleria. We have had a few lunches here and wanted to try their dinner menu.We did a little walking before dinner and discovered a LOVE mural on a side alley. Tonight’s dinner was a great feast with wonderful company (sorry no food or people photos).
Saturday had us putting in lots of walking miles, so our Sunday was driving miles to recover our legs. A quiet not adventure packed Sunday is always a lovely thing.
