Off we went to Terra Nova National Park for a hike. Terra Nova is a heavily forested park, so there aren’t ocean views. However they are lake views and walkways over bogs to keep one interested.
We hiked Ochre Hill, it was 3 miles for us in 90 minutes. The views at the top were great and we could see the fire tower across the way. We couldn’t hike from where we were to it, it was a drive up tower.

After the hike we drove to the fire tower. Mike attempted to climb up it, but the wind was to much. We also found official red chairs!

As we drove back to the rental, we spotted a sign that read Market. Of course we pulled in. It was a Saturday Market on a Sunday. We learned they were trying out Sunday Markets. It didn’t look they experiment we would be positive. We did pick up a few things though.

The sun was still shinning when we returned. So off we went again to hike the Coastal Trail for the third time.

We arrive at the trailhead via a beach, the general hiking population comes in from the parking lot. We are lucky to have the beach way to get to it. Today we saw a Lions Mane Jellyfish and its babies (we the little guys were related to the big one). We even had a whale viewing. The whale kept producing more bubbles than it usually does, I declared it was farting lots.

Monday is forecasted to be a very rainy morning (as I write this Monday morning, I can confirm that is happening). Perfect weather to start packing up to leave to the next place on Tuesday.
