Day 19 – Cape Spear Lighthouse

Three standouts from Saturday:

1. Lighthouses at Cape Spear and standing at the eastern most point of Canada (some debate if it is all of North America)

2. Landwash Brewery. A local brewery outside of St. John’s. We originally wanted a more popular brewery but there was no parking and the people pouring in there was overwhelming. Glad it didn’t work out because we found a hidden gem.

3. Whale watching. It was from our rental late afternoon.

We didn’t do much on Saturday because this island is so huge (approximately 2.7 Texases can fit inside Newfoundland) that it takes forever to drive anywhere.
