Why, oh why do I love you so turkey tail fungi? Is it because you have beautiful little rings of color, you grow so plentiful or you just remind me of a happy dance gracing a tree trunk?
Just a few facts: Grow on dead or dying wood, prefer oaks. The name refers to the part of the fungi we see. Grows from May to September.
