Day 33 – July 19
Woke up in camp to no rain! We went down to the ocean to snap the required “Coffee With a View” photo for my IG account.

After breakfast we hiked Bakers Brook Falls. It was a 6 mile hike to crazy overflowing falls.

After the hike we went to visit Lobster Cove Lighthouse.

Our final exploring of the day brought us to the wreck of the SS Ethie. The wreck happened in 1919 and parts of the ship are still there (and we found red chairs, but not the official park ones).

It was another full day of fun.
July 20- Day 34
Up early to hike the 3 mile coastal trail that was mere steps from our campsite. Because we were in a National Park we found red chairs!

We thought we would go hike the Western Pond Trail to see the fjord, but it was foggy, we skipped it and headed north. Our GPS led us astray (we were trying to get to the lighthouse) and it put us at the Bread Ovens. I guess the GPS knew where we needed to be first. We came into a little place, family style seating and had two buns with local jams. The bread is baked outside in the oven. At 2 p.m. they do an informational talk, but we didn’t stick around.

This ended up being lunch and the GPS decided to send us the correct way to the lighthouse. As we entered the drive to the lighthouse, a sign was posted “Caribou have the right of away”. I exclaimed I really wanted to see a caribou, but I didn’t think it would happen. As that last word came out of my mouth, Mike told me to look ahead, caribou. It was so hard to control my squeals of delight.

On our drive out of the lighthouse area we spotted another caribou. WOW!

One of things I wanted to find was the Sacred Cod Statue, we found it.

It was time to make our way back to the campground, but we still had two more stops to fit in.
The first of two stops was Arches Provincial Park.

Our final stop of the day was to the tiniest, non functional lighthouse, Cow Head. It required a 1/2 mile hike to it.

It ended up being a much busier day than originally planned.
July 21st -Day 35
Time to pack up and move to our last stop, Georges Lake House. We woke up to drizzle with heavier rain predicted for the day. We are becoming pros at this pack up campsite quick thing. First though make coffee in the back of the car and eat breakfast in the tent.

We arrived around 2 p.m at the rental, unpacked, I napped after the unpacking and then that night I slept for 10 hours straight. I think I was exhausted from all the travel and seeing new places the day before.
