Trying to send this via the campground wifi….
Day 29
July 15 was move from the Baytona house to Lomond Campground in Gros Morne National Park. Lovely site, the ocean was a short walk away and the only annoyance was a constantly annoying child, that the parents ignored. Also the red squirrel that terrorized us and our camping gear.

Day 30 July 16
We hiked the Green Garden Trail in Gros Morne. It was 6 miles, took us a little over 3 hours

We returned to camp, went the rocky beach to get our feet wet.

Early night
Day 31 July 17
Did the Tablelands hike/walk. Easy walk for 2 miles on the Earth’s mantle. How cool is it to walk on the Earth’s mantle? This was one of my must do hikes this trip.

Did lunch out, grocery shopping and had another early night.
Day 32 July 18
Today was move to a new campground in Gros Morne, Green Point.
First stop was Gros Morne Coffee Roaster. Great time meeting the staff and roaster. The roaster made me a free latte.

On our way to Green Point, we stopped at a lookout to have our lunch in the pouring rain.
We stopped at the visitor center to wait out the next cell of heavy rain.
We landed around 2 at the campground in between rain downpours, just set up the tent and left as the heavy rain returned.
Drove around a bit, returned to the visitor center to sit out the thunderstorm.
After that we headed out to dinner at The Cat and the Rooster. One man does all the hosting, bartending, being your server, cook, bottle washer….you get it.
He also has three cats, but because of the rain they were in a comfy spot out of the view of diners. It was a great evening.

Once back at campsite, was finally able to set things up and walk to the cozy beach to watch part of the sunset.

It was a long day, that revolved around the weather.
