Day 16 Running From the Fog

My morning coffee with a view post was all about the fog coming in and going out.

We needed to go to the big city of St. John’s today to make a Costco run and hit up a full sized grocery store.

While in that area we hiked a tiny section of the East Coast Trail, specifically part of the Stiles Cove Path. Mike wanted to see a certain spot, however to get to the spot would require a long hike. After much research he found a small access road to park out, making our hike only 2 miles instead of 4-6 miles one way.

We had a fog free hike, but when we arrived back at the car, the rain started and the fog came with it.

After the hike we headed to a little take out for fish and chips. We split one portion, it was huge.

We returned hoping to go hike the Chance Cove coastal trail, but the fog decided to settle in. We started to plan tomorrow adventures hopefully where there won’t be as much fog.
