Day 14 – Reality of Self Catered Trips

Today was a perfect rainy day to get life stuff done.

We did catch the eagles a few times during breakfast. They didn’t spend much time around this morning.

After breakfast we drove south to a larger town that had fully stocked grocery stores. Tomorrow is Canada Day and we aren’t sure what stores will be open. We had plans to visit a honey store and a strawberry farm, both were unexpectedly closed.

We did stop in a town to walk the longest trestle bridge in the province. It is now a walking/atv trail. It was 900ft long.

We returned to the rental to do laundry and start packing up. We move to a new part of the island tomorrow, where we will stay for a week.

No grand adventures today, but necessary life stuff.
