Day 11 – We Drove and Drove Some More

It was change locations day. We went from southwestern part of the island to the central north part of the island, a little over fours if we drove straight through.

Due to the drama on Thursday we skipped one of our must see sites, Rose Blanche Lighthouse. We went before breakfast but with our coffee. It was a 40 minute drive to get there, but I didn’t want to miss seeing the lighthouse. I am so glad we didn’t skip it.

The rest of the day it was drive, drive, drive broken up by returning to the police department (the girl filled out her report incorrectly), gas, lunch, groceries, more gas and then we made it to the rental on a tidal inlet.

It’s a long weekend for the Canadians, It is Canada Day on Tuesday. We just might stumble upon a festival or two this weekend.
