Day 8 Transit Day

Tuesday was leave the rental and head to Sydney, Nova Scotia.

Our first hike was at White Point. It was more like a meander, choose your own path. Book time for the hike was 30 mins. 1 mile. It took us 50 mins because we oohhh and ahhhhed.

Our next hike was the Jack Pine Trail, in search of the red chair. We decided not to do the full loop once we found the chair.

Our final hike of the day was Middle Head. The book listed the hike as 2.4 miles, but they are rerouting the trail making it 3 miles. It was hot! We did find another red chair.

We were exhausted from this last hike and went to straight to our subpar motel.

After dropping off our stuff we went to dinner at H2O Flavor at the cruise port. Lucky for us a ship was in, which entertained us while we ate dinner. Bonus for seeing the world’s largest violin!

Our day was very full of adventure. Tomorrow (well today, Wednesday as I type this) we begin the next leg of our adventure, off to Newfoundland.
