Sunrise today was stunning.

The sun came out and as today is our last adventure day here, we decided to repeat two waterfall visits. When we first visited Salton and Jacko Falls the sky was overcast. We knew we should return when the sun was out. Luckily the sun cooperated for us. It cooperated so well, it blew out many of the photos and no amount of playing with settings helped.
Salton Falls was our first stop. It is a .5 mile walk from the car to reach them. Photos here didn’t get blown out.

From here we moved on to Jacko Falls. The shortest walk to a beautiful waterfall. A woman and her son were already there and she recognized me from Instagram. It was a little awkward. She was very kind.
This is where the sun really blew out photos of us, but it truly is about the waterfall, not us.

It felt right that our last day here exploring, the weather was perfect and really showed off the beauty of this island.
