Day 28 – Playing It Safe

After a rainbow filled breakfast we headed out to Middleham Falls

It took us 2 hours, 31 minutes to go 2.6 miles with some time to play in the water. The elevation gain was around 698 feet. Well Mike played in the pools beneath the waterfall. It required going over large slippery rocks and I played it safe and didn’t do that. I remained on the viewing platform where I was perfectly content to hang out.

I sat on the platform while Mike played

After this hike, we went to view Trafalgar Falls. This was the falls we did last week, going up the side of it and it was dangerous. We wanted to see how the flow was today.

The photo on the left is from today. The photo on the right was the day we went up it. Much safer today.

We should have played it safe last week. Oh well…
